FLUKE MULTIMETER FUSES
« on: August 31, 2023, 01:21:29 am »
Hi all,

For those of you in Oztralia who still have the older Fluke multimeters (8010, 8020, 8050 etc) in service, there is a local supplier in Victoria who stocks compatible fuses.

The company is SWE-Check (www.swe-check.com.au) telephone 03-9521-6133.

I've just ordered fuses for my 8010 and 8050 meters, just to have spares on hand.

Luckily they had one compatible mains fuse, (Buss MDQ 1/32 3AG glass, 32mA, SLOW blow) left on the shelf, but they do have a fast blow version of the 31mA fuse, part # 3AG-FB.031 on hand. I've ordered some of those to try.

The 2A fuse that fits in the front panel fuseholder of the 8010 and 8050 meters (Buss AGX2 2A 6 x 26mm, cylindrical glass) is part # 8AG002

and the current measurement functions' last line of defence, the internal HRC cartridge fuse (Littlefuse BLS 3A 10 x 38mm 3A) is part # BBS003.
