Hello!
Please don't swear, I'm a beginner, I use a translator.
I need help. I bought Fnirsi-1013D, the device is working fine, I wanted to update the firmware.
1. When connected to a computer, the computer writes "the device is not recognized", the cable checked on other devices everything is "ok", checked on several computers Win7, Win10, the same, maybe someone has encountered? At the same time, everything is saved to the SD card, if you remove the SD card from the device and insert it into the card reader, everything is also readable, there is data on the card.
2. I bought a new SD card to download the new firmware onto it. I inserted the SD card into the card reader built into my monoblock, the loader does not see the SD card, if you insert a USB flash drive, then the loader sees it. Do I understand correctly that you need to use an external card reader connected to USB?
Thanks!

1. What is the volume of the purchased micro-SD? Preferably 8-16GB.
Format it to FAT32 and insert it into your device. Turn on. The native firmware should load by default.
It’s better to put the included card aside as a backup
2. On the oscilloscope, select "Menu" > "USB connection". Run the FNIRSI_Firmware_Loader program on your computer. Wait for a device named “F1C100S...” to appear in the “USB storage device” field. In the "Binary File" field, specify the path to the firmware file. Click "Write to device". Turn off - turn on the device. Enjoy the new firmware. The latest firmware at the moment is 0024k.

1 Did so, micro SD 16 GB. FAT32. I inserted it into the device, turned it on, the native firmware loads well, the device works with a new card. but when connected to a computer, the computer does not see the device.
2. On the oscilloscope, select the "Menu" "USB connection". Started FNIRSI_Firmware_Loader. In the "USB drive" field, a device named "F1C100S..." does not appear.
Thanks

Does something appear in the device manager in the "disk devices" and "USB devices" fields when you connect and select USB connection in the menu? Have you tried connecting to a computer with a different OS? Run the loader with administrator rights?
PS
You can write the firmware without using a bootloader. Take DmDe, WinHEX or something similar and insert (with replacement) FW, starting from sector 16.

Please tell me version 0024k is working stably. Personally, replacing the cable helped me for the firmware.

I figured out how to download the firmware to the SD card, you need to insert the card not into the built-in monoblock of the card reader into an external USB. I downloaded the firmware, everything is fine, I will test it!

I still have one problem, when connecting to a PC, the PC device does not see.
In the "device manager" "USB controllers" when connected and selected in the USB connection menu, "Unknown device" appears, I tried it on different operating systems, the result is the same, maybe this is a problem with my device, It does not apply to this topic, please tell me which topic? Thanks!

...the cable checked on other devices everything is "ok"...
Change the cable for complete clarity.

The native charging cable does not work well. Try on another cable. It helped me personally in solving the issue. And the firmware went well.

Thank you very much for developing this device. Is it possible to apply 20X? It would be just what you need. Thank you again for your hard work.

Friend, I tried different cables, on different computers, different OS, Win7, Win 10, the result is the same, so the problem is in my device, I'll try to solder it once, if it doesn't help.

For some, this device was not visible on a 64-bit OS, but was detected perfectly on a 32-bit OS. Try it. If it doesn’t work, then look for a fault in USB D+, D-.

I tried to connect to Win7 32-bit, it didn't help, the same error, the device is not defined.

I have had no problems on any 64 bit Windows device from 2 to 11 years old, USB 2 or 3.
Dumb question, but something I messed up with initially. Are you going into the USB connection menu on the scope before trying to connect to your PC? It won't connect and do updates if just sitting on the main trace screen.
Also be sure your cables are not just simple charging cables but actual data cables by checking their pinout with a USB tester or with another device (tablet/phone/game) that you can test data transfer.
Finally there was talk about a month ago in the thread about very slow connection times on certain builds of the custom firmware (and maybe original too) to some windows devices. Once you get to a good build then things are good after that.
You might want to do what I did. Image a new micro SD card directly with the most recent build with a SD card reader and replace the one in the scope with that. Then afterwards try connecting via USB and it should work.

Only it doesn't work for him even with fnirsi firmware. I'm typing a cold connection either on the usb connector or uP feet. He will want to look at the connections under a microscope.

Friends, thank you all! The problem was the cable. Strangely, I used 3 different cables, they all worked well with the phone, the phone connected to all computers. Today I received a new magnetic cable from Aliexpress, I decided to check it, and connected it and everything works fine! I'll buy another new cable tomorrow, in reserve. Thanks!

Fixed display of 0 before decimal point.
Add divider 0.5-1-10-20-50-100-1000 and mode for measuring volts and amperes.
Beta version: v0.024o download again

Hi, first of all I want to thank you for the amazing work. I have a current clamp with 1 mV/1 A coversion. It's not really precise but it's good for big currents and this clamp is also cheap. The conversion is in the 1x, 10x, 100x etc?

Thank you so much for such a great job. You are a genius and a miracle worker. You turn from a simple oscilloscope into a pro. Or maybe these oscilloscope files will help you. If only we could take ready-made preset settings from there. For example, injectors, ignition and so on. And to embed them in this oscilloscope, in general, would be super. I attached the files.
