Fnirsi has a new toy on pre-order: a current clamp. See here.

"Pre-sale officially started, and delivery is expected to start in mid December. Use code DMC10 to get extra 12% discount"

It says it has 10,000 counts, but the images show current measured with less precision.  Wondering if it's a good value vs the Uni-T UT201e.  I need to see down to single-digit mA resolution on DCA usually.    There are other players at this price point that do not perform as well as the Uni-T, such as GVDA and it's cousins.
Electronics always a core hobby. Sometimes I blog at KeepOnTesting.

Yes the unit is a gem. I've pushed the order button with the coupon code. Hope it arrives this year.

Its stated accuracy suggests that will be a challenge:

If you can loop the wire, you effectively double your measurement

I hope this is sarcasm...  :)
There are small lies, big lies and then there is what is on the screen of your oscilloscope.

There is a world of difference between the low current clamp like 210E, and the high ones, like this 600A unit.. they are optimized for different use-cases, and the ones that will do 600A or 1000A are usually close to useless for mA in the single or double digits from their hall sensor clamp.

Prefered to get one for each scenario.. a unit for low, and a unit optimised for high amp values..

No it is a terrible typo on my side.
The intended reply was:

Would you prefer the UT201E to the Owon CM2100?
If so, why?
The Owon has 20000 counts and a similar precision in current measurement afaics.

I have both. Both are good meters.

The uni-T I acquired first is more petite and always (somewhere) on my bench.

The owon is in the same bag as my Siglent oscilloscope.

So it is just a case of acquired preferences.

Owon CM2100 has two variants. The one with B at the end Owon CM2100B have Bluetooth connection and offline recording with 10000 counts that can be saved with the smartphone. The 20000 counts are only for voltage. This is valid also for Fnirsi, those 10000 counts are not for amperage range. Fnirsi is not made for low current measurements since the lowest value 10 mA. 50 mA on Fnirsi will be read as 0.05A  and the Owon display will show 0.050A. The last digit on the all multimeters cannot be trusted regardless of how expensive it is.
The only good feature of Fnirsi is dual display with voltage and amperage values on the same time. Like the all devices from this brand have fancy display that is irresistible for novice users.

I have the Owon CM2100B, and love the Bluetooth function and the app for cell phone.
Other than that, it is very similar to my UT210E :horse:
