Title: Fortune Semiconductor FS9721-LP1 Vs. FS9721-LP3
Post by: shakalnokturn on July 20, 2023, 12:11:32 am
I figured this was the most appropriate section for my question, sorry if it wasn't.

I have an upcoming Hantek Scopemeter repair that will possibly involve replacing the DMM ASIC.
What are the differences between -LP1 and -LP3 suffixes?
Anyone had luck with the dirt cheap GC7721 equivalent such as this one https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002054301623.html (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002054301623.html) ?

As a follow-up to my own question:
The GC7721-P1 ordered did exhibit some signs of life but would not communicate with the rest of the meter as intended. I didn't go to in depth analysis of why it was not communicating. The GC7721-P3 worked like the original chip but required some readjustment.
