Title: FY6600 60MHz signal - function generator any good in 2018 ?

I have a $20 sig.gen. and some xr2206 chips, thats fine enough for low freq tests.

So looking at the prices there's no more options under $100 and then the FY6600 is advertised as 60MHz for $130(for me). Thats high enough frequency for now. And I'm not spending +500 or 1000, for now I barely need 1 anyway.

I saw a 64page thread on here about it, what's the combined wisdom on the FY6600?

See also its next version FY6800. Also discussed in the FY6600 thread (in the latest parts) due to being so similar.
