I have some problems to get the easywavex software to detect my scope.
I want to capture some data from the scope (liberated DSO-x 3014A) and replay it using the arb function in the siglent SDG2122x.
The Siglent is detected in the EasyWaveX software.
I updated quite a bit of the NI-visa software. Perhaps a bit too much?
Both instruments are detected by the VISA interactive control and NI MAX under network devices.
Can anyone give me hints of what to do?
Thanks,
Blue.

It's unlikely you'll get a direct connection from your HPAK DSO to play nice with EasyWaveX so try exporting a CSV from it and try opening/importing that into EasyWaveX.
Edit
Or try a BIN filetype.

I have installed the Keysight connection expert with the iosuite and the scope has red cross through the lan instruments list.
Why?
My other instruments are ok.
(The scope has a LAN card from Gibo. Unfortunately it has no vga output and therefore it gives an error when the scope startsup. But I can still connect to it using my network.)
I attach a picture here (hopefully that works)

After deleting and reinstalling I have the instruments recognised in both NI and Keysight.

It's really pain in the ass to get the data out of the keysight scope DSO-X 3014A (liberated) and into the liberated siglent SDG 2042X.
Keysight has only a very old program: https://www.keysight.com/us/en/lib/software-detail/computer-software/intuilink-data-capture-for-keysight-oscilloscopes-896758.html (https://www.keysight.com/us/en/lib/software-detail/computer-software/intuilink-data-capture-for-keysight-oscilloscopes-896758.html)
With an install manual: https://edadocs.software.keysight.com/kkbopen/how-do-i-transfer-waveforms-screen-images-and-measurements-from-my-infiniivision-oscilloscope-to-a-pc-using-intuilink-data-capture-577940565.html (https://edadocs.software.keysight.com/kkbopen/how-do-i-transfer-waveforms-screen-images-and-measurements-from-my-infiniivision-oscilloscope-to-a-pc-using-intuilink-data-capture-577940565.html)
problem is that it only exports 1meg samples, but the scope has 4meg samples.
Import into easywavex uses cvs format with the following structure:
data length,999989
frequency,1000
amp,10
offset,5
phase,0
xpos,value
1,-0.03015
2,-0.03015
3,-0.03015
4,-0.03015
5,-0.03015
6,0.05025
7,-0.03015
8,-0.03015
9,-0.03015
....
999986,8.171
999987,8.171
999988,8.171
999989,8.171
Please do note the 7 empty lines.
How did I find this out? Simply by exporting one of the buildin traces from the software and analyzing that file.
@Siglent, can you make the software less stringent? It cost me a lot of time to reconvert the files into the rightformat. Can you make the software to recognize other scopes as well as your own?
Many thanks,
Blue

Could another SW package like LabVIEW help ?
You can find the SDG drivers here:
https://www.siglenteu.com/service-and-support/firmware-software/waveform-generators/#sdg2000x-series (https://www.siglenteu.com/service-and-support/firmware-software/waveform-generators/#sdg2000x-series)

Perhaps,
But then I have to install labview.
I have somewhere an old version....
-
There is a free version for home usage called Labview Community Edition 2020.
I installed it as well as the latest labview drivers from SiglentSDGXseries_LabView_Driver_1.0.2.zip
It contains a readme html file refering its contens as version 1.01. Humm.
After doing where to install the files, I get the following error on executing an example:

I may have an answer from the factory about this very soon.
We are discussing it.

We are discussing it.
A solution from the factory has arrived.
PM sent.
-
I can report that the solution works.
A bug report will be send to Siglent and hopefully they will publish the files soon.
If they do, I might be inclined to report more bugs for them to fix - and there are quite a few (upon a fee - I do not want to be an unpaid beta tester).
