Title: getting the most from a gieger tube?:
Post by: SArepairman on July 28, 2013, 12:13:29 pm
So what are methods from getting the most out of your gieger tube?

I know that you can improve dead time by driving the input into a negative high voltage after a pulse is detected. Are there any other methods for getting more out of your tube?

I'm guessing you can get some significant improvements if you switch in a negative voltage using a fast transistor.
