If the glass bezel had survived, how difficult would it be to remove the black border around its edge? Also, does the glass bezel have any sort of anti-reflective coating on it? |

are there two versions of the 1000b series? the one in dave's teardown has a much thicker plastic bezel and no glass with the white marks, i think one of those couldn't be upgraded with a larger display because of that. |

I think Dave got a very early model (could even be called a prototype) which he used for his video. |
