For options you don't need to continue patching the "the cat" file.

Here;)

Hi everyone

may be a way to use the E7495B below 375 Mhz.
picture found in the L4600A dump.  L4600A_dump\Dump\flash\software\sw345\images.

not accessible under the E7495B but maybe the PCB is equipped. If anyone has an open E7495B they can check it out.

I opened my E7495B. there are no 2 dipswiches, just an HE10 type connector nearby.

Hi.
little weekend DIY and first results.
modification of the E7495B file in \ flash \ egServer \ Dragonfly \ Receivers

Analyzer from 100 Khz to 3500 Mhz.  :-+ ( tested with R&S FSEA -20dBm , 0 span generator )
works from 400 Khz but with a significant lack of sensitivity.
a little loss above 3.2 Ghz may be due to my poor 3 meter RG58.
but the HF generator still takes only 375 Mhz to 2.5 Ghz.  |O
I was able to get it out down to 0 dbm.  ( tested just a few frequencies )

When i go to 2.7 Ghz in spectrum mode, i have an error message :
Non-fatal error on device Receiver, cummulative error count : 5
but not problem for measurements.

GPS : Locked and green but below 375 Mhz and above 2700 Mhz, GPS always locked but red cross.
had to reboot my 7495B to find the GPS in green in the 375 to 2700 Mhz range.

screenshot at 2710 Mhz / span 100 Mhz.

internal oscilator at 2740 and level difference at 2.7 Ghz.

if anyone can do cleaner measurements above 2.7Ghz to confirm that it works.

Hi Eric,
following your progress, but no time to test on my unit.
Usually using Anaren DBM to extend range up to 4 GHz by mixing ;)
