Hi :) :) :),
Please recommend me some handheld oscilloscope! My budget is max 1000€!
I look at the following models:
HandshiHantek DSO1152S (isolated)
Micsig TO1102 or Micsig TO1104
Siglent SHS810
P.S. I'm sure that the old Tektronics THS7xx models are very good but I don’t want to buy 20 year used device from eBay without any warranty of proper operation

I use the TO1072 for automotive jobs, good battery life and the touchscreen is easy to use, I had a few little problems with the charge socket but nothing that would make me go back to my old fluke unit, the display is bright and easy to read in the workshop and outdoors. You will probably want to invest in some more robust probes though (I use the ones from my Fluke 99).

From what I've seen from handheld scopes the MicSig TO1104 is probably the best suitable for general testing. It has all the features you find on a bench scope. Typically hand held scopes don't have many features because for their target audience they have to be simple to operate.

Yes, I think to buy MicSig TO1102 or TO1104, but I don't see to sell only batteries for them (after years of use it will need a new battery :-// ). Or how to hack this battery :-\ (it seems that it has protection and integrated charger).
By the way, exist hack update from MicSig TO1072 to TO1104?

While working for BMW I mostly used a fluke 2 channel handheld. Today I'd probably still choose a fluke. Despite the micsig probably being better, I recall it having capacitive touch. That reason alone I'd go with the siglent or hantek. With siglent you're likely to get better support so I would have to go with that.
Actually 1 caveat... If it isn't primarily for automotive work get the micsig.

Siglent and support? AFAIK the Siglent handheld scopes aren't exactly high on Siglent's bug fix TODO list. The MicSig TO1000 series OTOH works so where would you need support for? Besides that a forum member had a faulty battery in his/her MicSig scope and that got fixed for free as far as I can tell.

Between Hantek and Siglent, I choose Siglent for support. I doubt either manufacturer will do much for you for bugs, warranty issues though are support you might need. The MicSig I would not want as my primary scope for working in a real automotive environment just because of the interface. My dad has one and it's a great scope but screens aren't the interface of choice in that world. When you do find touch screen stuff it's typically resistive for a reason.

Did you ask Batronix for a battery or did you ask them 'what happens if the battery goes bad'? These are very different questions.

Yeah that's the problem with some gear so you'd better be sure you choose the right one.

Some Googling revealed you can buy the batteries seperately:

But like with car parts you have to realise that a part which is hard to get usually isn't very likely to fail. It doesn't make sense to keep it in stock because nobody buys it.

Did you ask Batronix for a battery or did you ask them 'what happens if the battery goes bad'? These are very different questions.
I asked them if they sell batteries and their price.

New model or a new function? I tried to get the beta functions for my dads since I occasionally help him with diag when I see him but never did.

Also take a look at the older Tektronix THS720P and similar.
You can get them used for a great price and they work very well as an automotive scope.

new model. but for old customers, in the beginning, we can send them free. You know, Micsig like to send free functions in the beginning, like TO1104 bus decoding. ;D

I recently purchased a Hantek DSO1000E Series and while it was a great price and it seems well built, the software is very buggy (frequent rebooting, slow response and persistent video overlay bugs) and forget about manufacturer tech support. It would not pass self calibration and the upgrading to the latest firmware (2016) only seemed to make things worse. I didn't receive a reply from two emails after a week but I did receive a brief reply on their forum.
Luckily I purchased it from a US supplier so I have the option to return it and probably go with another brand.

Micsig Automotive oscilloscope is ok to sell now. the models is ATO1000 series. it has 2 channel and 4 channels. :)
