I picked up a dead no power hanmatek dos1104 from evilbay, it appears brand new in original box with the screen protector still on it.
Ends up with two shorted buck converters and shorted MCU F1C200s. After replacement the unit now boots to a splash screen then boot loops.
I'm hoping to find the software for the MCU. The manufacturer does not respond to emails, or have any type of support that can be contacted.

Most likely this is a rebadged Owon SDS1104.

it is 100% a rebadged owon. although there seem to be different revisions of the owon. there is one that looks completely different to the hanmatek, but also one that looks the same. its kinda weird. https://www.amazon.de/OWON-4-Kanal-Digital-Speicher-Oszilloskop-MHz-Bandbreite-ultrad%C3%BCnnes-hochaufl%C3%B6sendem/dp/B0B7HLKQ4B (https://www.amazon.de/OWON-4-Kanal-Digital-Speicher-Oszilloskop-MHz-Bandbreite-ultrad%C3%BCnnes-hochaufl%C3%B6sendem/dp/B0B7HLKQ4B) this one looks different. for context this is the hanmatek: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Hanmatek-DOS1104-Professional-Oscilloscope-Bandwidth/dp/B0CGZJXQK6?th=1 (https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Hanmatek-DOS1104-Professional-Oscilloscope-Bandwidth/dp/B0CGZJXQK6?th=1) there is also this owon (from russia or ukraine) http://www.momm.com.ua/ostsillografy-4-chetyre-kanala-i-bolee/834-ostsilograf-sds-1104-owon.html (http://www.momm.com.ua/ostsillografy-4-chetyre-kanala-i-bolee/834-ostsilograf-sds-1104-owon.html) which looks the same as the hanmatek.

would a cross flash works ?? or need to dissect the fw and grab the needed part ?
-
that i am not certain about, given that there are two models, unless you own the hanmatek (or the identical looking version of the owon) and dump the firmware somehow.

I think your right, none the less, no firmware support........

My hope is someone could copy from an identical unit, and I was planing to upload to a development board with the F1C200s, and transfer the chip. There is a better way I'm sure but this i could pull off.
