Hantek 6022BE red light blinking

Hi, I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. Have just bought a Hantek 6022BE and it all seems to be working OK on Windows XP. I noticed that there is a red light next to the probe connectors, that keeps blinking. Is this normal? There is no mention of this light in the manual. Not sure if this topic has been raised before - Thanks in advance for any information. Cheers
