Rotten DS-1052E LCD Screen

Hello all,

I was wondering if someone knows of a replacement for the LCD on a Rigol DS1052E that has served me well over the years.
It was on storage for a few months and when it came out the screen was rotten, like the sandwiched lcd layers peeled on the inside.

ill post pictures later of the issue.
suggestions?

i have seen tv's with "stuff" between the defuser layers,
you can usually clean them if you have the patience.

For some reason this is common on large TV´s. Carefully remove the damaged one, buy polarizing film from your favourite online Asian supplier and stick it to the cleaned panel.
