Hantek DSO5102P - why 2 frequencies?
(1/1)
SparkyNZ:
I have a Hantek DSO5102P. CH1 is connected to a 28.6MHz signal.
Can somebody please explain why there are 2 frequencies shown? The yellow bar shows 29.58MHz and the blue CH1 frequency only shows 4.996kHz?
I've had a look in the manual https://www.hantek.com/Product/5000P/DSO5000P_Manual.pdf but I can't figure it out.

Pulse trigger, right ?
Try a normal edge trigger and drive the scope yourself rather than let Autoset think it knows best. :horse:

Yeah you're right. I switched to rising edge and moved the trigger to about 80% of the peak and its now showing only 1 frequency.. and exactly what I expect it to be.
Note to self: If silliness on the screen, forget Autoset. :-) Thank you
