--- Quote ---Really looking forward to hearing what people think of this unit.. --- End quote --- I second that. Im already quite impressed with my hantek 'scope. Already starting to save for one of these.. |

Has anyone experienced signal attenuation when feeding a signal into a 50R termination on a 'scope? I was measuring the Vpp from my Hantek and noticed that on my Rigol 2072A, with the 50R termination turned on, I am getting about 1/2 of what I should get. Makes me think that the Hantek isn't sourcing correctly for a 50Ohm terminated load, but rather a high impedance load (the Vpp reasonably matches when I switch the 'scope back to 1M termination). Is there an option that I am missing to select the output impedance on the Hantek? |

Hmm, I can't find any option like this, but I need to look further. I will say one massive issue with this generator is the manual is less than stellar. It is enough to get by, but no more (at least the English translation of the Chinese version is). I guess a 50R output makes sense for a function generator anyways. I think my HP 8116 is the same (and has no provision for setting the output impedance ). |
