Hantek HDP4000 power supply series

(1/1)

ddavidebor:
I have looked at the Hantek website for the first time in 5 years, and they seem to have released some interesting pieces of equipment.

This is one http://www.hantek.com/products/detail/17188

3-4 channel PSU, good specs, UI, and connectivity

Cannot find any teardown or reviews, does anyone have info?

Price seem similar to rigol https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005003533705317.html?gatewayAdapt=glo2vnm

I, too am waiting for a review. I like the industrial design and the specs of these power supplies.

Unfortunately I cannot be the one to take the leap of faith because I have trust issues with Hantek: I had an extremely negative experience with Hantek USB scopes about a decade ago and since then I've seen more than a few data points indicating that their products continue to lie on the far end of the buggier side of the quality spectrum. I've killed expensive prototypes with cheap power supplies (the kkmoon supplies that dump 48V capacitors into the output if you interrupt power), so you can imagine how these factors combine to give me 0 desire to be the guinea pig on this one.

But I do like the industrial design. I hope my caution is not warranted and I hope someone else comes along to prove it  :-+

FWIW, my 4 channel GW Instek supply continues to serve me well.

I'd run from any Hantek-made device...

I am also interested for this Hantek PSU, it looks similiar as Keysight E36300. In Hantek manual are screenshots from Keysight PC software. But who know what is inside... I also didn't find detailed review, or experiences. Only another topic with ethernet, firmware issue. I have cheap switching PSU, one analog, and one digital, but both are crappy... Or maybe I will repair old analog huge linear PSU. Keysight is for me very expensive. I want to have separate knobs for voltage and current and data logger is also good feature.
Can somebody write experiences with Hantek PSU?

Microcheap:
I got one HDP4324 recently. I didn't have the time to fully test it but, at least, the basic functions are working as expected.

I took some quick pictures for reference, the build quality seems good.

I've been planning to run a full test of my power supply for some time. I hope I will be able to do that soon and then I can post more details about it, I will also try to take some better pictures.
