Uni-t UT216C DC Clamp meter - different readings in reverse

Uni-t UT216C DC Clamp meter - new, amazon

Clamp on in one direction - reads about 80A, which is a close enough match to the battery monitor

Unclip and clip on in opposite direction - reads a bit over -50A

Most interesting

Anyone seen unequal forward / reverse DC Current Clamp readings?
