Keithley 2015 firmware update / calibration
« on: November 25, 2017, 10:54:29 pm »
Hello, I have read some old posts regarding K-2015 firmware update, and possible loss of cal data when upgrading from certain old versions. I have just got a 2015, and its firmware is A07 / A02, which seems to be quite outdated.
Apparently, there is a B17 FW, but I would first like to make sure I will not lose calibration in case of upgrading. Is there any list of fixes and improvements for this unit's firmware?
Does anyone have software that allows to backup the calibration data and further rewriting data on newer firmware?

Any comments will be appreciated!

regards!

Even if you read out the cal memory, there is the danger of a change in the data format for the cal data. This is one reason why cal data might got lost on a FW update.
