Title: Hikari hf-3205p programming syntax
Post by: dietert1 on August 15, 2022, 12:12:18 pm
This is a bench power supply available in Brasil, programmable by USB or RS232 connection. In the manual they show a windows app connected to the supply. Is the interface and command syntax documented somwhere? How about interface isolation? I'd like to use it with automation.

Regards, Dieter

PS: Meanwhile i found that this unit has been discussed extensively under the KORAD 3005D or 3005p label. Also there are several youtube videos. Reengineered schematics and alternative firmware were contributed, as well as a description of a calibration procedure.
The interface seems to be isolated on later units. The only interface command i found documented online is "*IDN?", so programming may conform to SCPI.
