Recently I have bought on Ebay an LCZ meter Hioki 3531 hi z meter. As often happens with the instruments bought on Ebay, it did not works well! The defect was fixed quickly: someone had removed all interior screens and the measures were unstable. I remaking all screens and now the instrument works very well. I would like to calibrate the instrument and I searched on Internet for the service manual but I haven't found anything (even the user manual). I've contacted Hioki asking for the service manual or, at least, the calibration procedure but they turned the request to local service company. I can calibrate the instrument only through them. Unfortunately I have found that aren't available service manuals for the Hioki instruments. Even for items not more supported.
I think that their instruments are built well but are too expensive. If in addition of this, there is the cost of calibration, where is the convenience of buying Hioki? What do you think?
