Hioki Analog Meter
« on: July 23, 2014, 02:44:24 am »
Just got this Hioki AS-500F analog meter from eBay for under $15 shipped. It stands about 7" tall.

It looks great and works fine. It boasts 30k ohms/volt DC sensitivity & 10K on AC. Other specs and date of mfr are unknown. I especially like the push buttons in place of the usual rotary switch.

This is my first Hioki product. I know they make some very high end test gear. This one seems well made though not as heavy duty as the big Simpsons or Tripletts.

Anyway, it seems like a real bargain and I'm happy with it.

Very nice looking VOM. If you feel like taking the case off, let us see the innards~.
