I found what seems to be a decent deal on a Kenwood scope how are those in comparison to other scopes of that era?

I have a CS4025 bottom of the range: 2-channel, 20MHz, nothing fancy. However, it is a workhorse and it is pretty good after almost 20 years of service.

Ha ha, Stonent, stop dithering and buy it before someone else grabs it.
Speaking of Trio/Kenwood scopes, does anyone know where I can get a schematic/service manual for a Trio CS-2110?
It's my most-used scope. I've had it since the 80s; it has never had a single problem and still works perfectly. Which is why my lack of the service manual has never been a problem, and finding one is a chore that always sinks to the bottom of the heap.

FWIW, found a site that sells .pdf downloads of the CS-2110 Service Manual for ~$5.00.

i do have Kenwood DCS8200, as well known as Trio DCS8200 (or in France as Sefram 5802/2). It is a very good piece of scope, sure 20MS/s when in digital mode, but it is still good 50MHz analog scope as well. A bigger brother of that scope is DCS8300, with 100MHz analog and digital bw and 40MS/s when digital mode enabled. They do have GPIB, but as well RS232 (and pen out! heh), so not a bid deal to get data from scope to PC.
Btw, as it was broken (caps of course) i got within 2 days all the manuals from Kenwood Japan (actually from Texio / Nikke Techno Systems which is ex-Kenwood TMI), that kind of service i knew only from R&S.

Genuinely thought "Dual" was just another label that model was sold under. :-[

Kenwood made the BK Precision 'scopes such as my 1470, 1477, and 1540, and many other models up to and including one version of the 2190 series.
Spend a little time on eBay and it's easy to see the family resemblance.
Deals abound on the BK versions, and service literature easier to find.
I've never seen one break though, except needing to clean some switches every few years.
Decent little analogs 'scopes.
