How to calibration if i do not have volt generator

OK, thanks for the replies putting me straight on "calibration". 

Check the Cal points even just for DC. 5, 50, 500 and 600V. Resistance Cal needs a large spread too. If you upload someone elses Cal data and change 1 or 2 of the lower points you can reach you will screw with the Linearity of all future measurements.

If it forces you to go through all of those before pressing "voltage done" then it's going to be tough.

Chalk it up to experience I guess. We've all made expensive mistakes.

When I bought my first house I needed a current survey for the closing. $500 if I recall, a lot of money then. After it was done my lawyer gave me a copy. All it was was an existing survey that the surveyor sealed and made the date current. I expected a new drawing and wooden stakes at the property sight. My lawyer said "this is a survey, whats your beef?". You want a new drawing and wooden stakes? That will be more $$, a lot more.  In the end he was right and I was just inexperienced. And as far as T&M equipment calibration, I learned a free lesson here as well
