How to ignore initial power on spike in single mode (Rigol)

I'm attempting to use my Rigol DS1054Z oscilloscope to work out why my MIPI DSI connection isn't working. Obviously a challenge is the high clock speed but I'm keen to check the lower clock stuff like TE and the reset line and this all changes on start up. How should I set the scope to single trigger mode but ignore the first spike from powering on? Is setting up a pulse trigger the right way? Is there a discussion anywhere on what to use the different trigger modes for?
