Users are not suggested to disassemble and install this module too often, so the main consideration is the price factor in my choosing this connector. --- End quote --- I am puzzled about decision to make that supposedly low cost scope modular, with prehistoric & ugly DB- connector in a middle. Why? For what? IMHO cost of the split case, connector and assembly expenses do not offset USB socket and ez-usb IC (there's nothing much more on the interface board). |

Jiangtao, Do not be discouraged by many of the responses here. You have come to a forum full of engineers. Engineers do not know how to write politely and with consideration. They can be quite rude. However there is still good advice to be found in what they have written. Sent from my MI 8 using Tapatalk |

--- Quote from: glarsson on February 19, 2019, 08:38:49 pm ---Page 4 mentions a mythical DB15 connector but shows what appears to be a DE15 connector. If the connector is the same as for VGA then it's a DE15. A DB15 would be the same size as a DB25 but with only 15 pins. I've never seen one of those. --- End quote --- You are right; it is a DE15. I have seen DB15s in the wild and it seems they still sell them. --- Quote from: glarsson on February 19, 2019, 08:38:49 pm ---Also, software is missing for Mac OS and iOS. --- End quote --- I think he said before that Windows and Android are the only supported options. |

That's why software for Mac OS and iOS are missing. The device is useless without software and the software is useless without anything to run it on. |

I never paid much attention to the exact nomenclature of the D series... --- Quote from: glarsson on February 19, 2019, 09:52:42 pm --- --- Quote from: rsjsouza on February 19, 2019, 09:32:52 pm ---I think he said before that Windows and Android are the only supported options. --- End quote --- Exactly.
