How to replace a GR-874 on a GR trombone
« on: December 02, 2013, 05:31:54 am »
I have a lot of GR gear and yesterday a friend brought a GR-605A and two constant impedance trombones. One was in bad shape. I managed to fix it so it slides again but now I have to replace one the connectors ring and center conductor of the GR874 locking connector. I have the parts, I know how to mount chassisparts and how to mount them to coax. But this one is mounted to I do not know if the connector is soldered to the trombone or screwed. I do not have the GR mounting kit and
I do not want to dammage the tube.

Any one has experience with these ? my collection measurement gear and experiments Also lots of info about network analyse  repair of test and calibration equipment my youtube channel
