Hello. We aren't all the rich - tycoons, here in Silicon Valley. I'm somewhat near NASA-Ames there 30 miles away in Sunnyvale.
   But I make do. Other Mechanical Engineer fellow that rents a portion of house, has good old-school TEST BENCH; including a Techtronics 465 scope.
Plus a 'GwINSTEK' frequency gen and power supplies and all solder tools.
  I like to joke, "My other bench..

   You make do with cheap deals... Way poor in the Bay Area (still living it)
