Title: HP 1331A X-Y monitor - service manual?
Post by: qu1j0t3 on July 19, 2018, 03:43:49 pm
Once again I have succumbed to the ebay siren and purchased this small storage X-Y.

The service manuals appear to be hard to find, however - unlike all my Tek gear and other HP scopes, for which I've been able to find manuals.

Has anyone ever seen this manual?

Thanks in advance.

It is available here:  http://hparchive.com/Manuals/HP-1331A-Manual.pdf (http://hparchive.com/Manuals/HP-1331A-Manual.pdf)
But is very low resolution.

It turns out the device is faulty. Note squealing from very near the capacitors and suspicious flash. CRT does light up but dot blooms completely, maybe high voltages (and low voltages) are out. Will replace caps.
