Have you tried a VNC connection on the same systems for a speed comparison?

I used VNC Viewer for Windows 5.2.3 the last time I wanted to remotely connect to a 16700 series logic analyzer. I didn't have any good X Window System server software handy at the time.

VNC didn't work at all for me....as I think you can't connect to it the normal but the 16702A has to connect to the workstation?

Did you try ending the current session and then starting a "Shared session (Web Remote Front Panel)" instead of an "Exclusive session (Console or RemoteX)" before trying a VNC connection?
