I was wondering if I can use my newly aquired 5316A to measure signals of amplitude about 12-15Vpp.(might be double that from the instruments' ground)
The instrument's manual states that the damage level is 250V (DC+AC) but I thought I should ask anyway.
Would it be safer to use 10x attenuation (ie. scope probe) or a normal BNC is okay?
Signals under test most probably won't exceed 25V regarding earth..
