I have an opportunity to acquire a 66000A modular power system mainframe including a complete fill of assorted power supply modules in great shape and at a low price. However, the dedicated keyboard for it is absent. Of course I can just control each module via GPIB, but it would be nice to punch up output voltages and perhaps CC limits more directly. Has anyone attempted to create a surrogate for the keyboard that can do this, or have a schematic for the actual HP keyboard?
At the end of the day I can probably simulate such a thing in MATLAB, but would first like to assess if there's a more direct hardware solution that I can have on the bench.
Thanks,
Jim
