There are 6 735A by HP in my basement. I asked my Dad if I could have one. He said ok. There was a paper on top that says "loveland lab retired, do not use", and then theres a list of numbers, with notes. I plugged on in and it has the correct outputs, on a 4.5 digit meter.
Everything else is wrong!

Anyone know what the lever on the righ hand side of the uV dial is supposed to do? I have a unit in that has a knackered lever so I'm not sure on what I'm missing out...  :-//

It is supposed to be a lock but on mine it doesn't work and I haven't bothered to strip it and see what is broken. The earlier ones didn't have the lock and there is a note in the manual about the updates.

** If anyone has a better copy of the manual let us all know this one is trashy but it was what I found a few years back.

The early counter dials do have a lock mechanism, the knob is marked "push lock".

If anyone is wondering why the later counter dials are often missing the cover, crap packaging & sending over the Atlantic will destroy the plastic & bend the front panel (this was acquired on here, not ePay).  :palm:
