HP 1660AS L.A./Scope

Hi, l'am new to this forum and have a question about HP 1660AS. (same scope inside as HP 16532A)

When using the scope in repetitive mode, there is a very low screen refresh rate on the screen for the measuring signal (about 3 Hertz max. I guess).

Is this normal due to FISO memory used or a fail function ?

I think reading 8k RAM with lets say 50 Hz gives a DataStream from 400Khz, it must be not a great problem for a 25Mhz multitasking CPU, or am I wrong ?
