At work we have an 8753D that gives a Caution message. Something like, Caution Probe power. In red lettering. I think it has to do with an unused option that allows for a probe to be used. Not currently using this option, is there a way to turn off this message as it makes our printouts look bad?
Thanks

That will be the power for the probe power outlets on the front panel.
Which is probably caused by a blown fuse on the top of the A8 post-regulator board.

Hello and thanks for the reply. Repairing the thing is not an option as I am not allowed to do such things. It is classified as calibration not required as it is used for training. So what I was hoping for is a way to disable the reported caution note as it clutters up the screen. :)

Ah I see. Bugger. I don't know if that can be disabled.
FWIW it would be a simple repair, but assuming it is a fuse then soldering is required to remove the fuse and put in a new one. (Its almost certain to be the same regulator board as the one in my 8753C which had the same fault). The fuses are visible with the top cover off.
