Hi
A local firm in Denmark just went bust, and I was so lucky to buy reasonable cheap 3 VNAs, which all seem to work:
HP 8753ES, E5070B, 8753D
Along with 85046A reflection kit.
I don't know the history of the instruments, have tried to find a guide online. I want to keep the best one, and sell the other 2 on Ebay. They all seem to work, and my guess is that I should go for the E5070B which has windows OS and is probably the one that can last the longest. I could also keep 2 of them, so if one dies in the near future I have a backup.
Anyway, I need to connect them to a PC, and for the 8753 I found this tool:

Looks very nice.

Any other tools out there?
Recommendations on which to keep?
Regards
Klaus

Oh, I also got a EMI test receiver HP 85422E, would like to find a control SW for that one too, although that might be hard due to being an old instrument

The 8753D, when paired with the 85046A reflection kit, has similar functionality as the 8753ES. Though the 8753ES has better overall performance. (Speed and some extra functions)
I'm not familiar with the E5070B, but it looks like a newer variant compared to the 8753.. If I was doing to dump one of them, it would be the 8753D & 85046A if the other two are functional and have the required options installed.
I'm sure all 3 can be controlled by Labview or some other software via GPIB.

Thanks. I found a comparison:

for the E5070, it has 20dB better dynamic range, much faster sweep, and less noise.
Comparison between analyzers that I found:

Seems the 8753ES has a known problem with YIG oscillator:

So I need that fixed.
