HP 8924c GPIB control: software?

Hi,

I'm guessing people are using PyVisa and friends... but I guess a thread won't hurt. What are you (owners of HP 892x gear) using for remote/GPIB control?

I'm looking for something that allows me to test/run commands, getting immediate feedback. So far with Keysight Command Expert I always get errors instead of the responses (but I can see the commands seem to execute).

There is also no command set available for the 8924c, the closest is for M8924.
