Scored a decent eBay find of an HP 6236B power supply. Works great, cosmetically it's usable but had a few magic marker notes that I've been able to take care of.
It needs a couple of the caps on the voltage set knobs. Can anybody tell me where to get two of them? Beige, about a half inch in diameter. The knob is HP P/N 0370-1099.
(Fixed the model number, it was a typo...)

That's not the right number, maybe you mean 6236B? I have one of them, and I think it's missing the same caps, but it never bothered me that much.
I've had some luck with Tucker Electronics (http://"http://www.etestparts.com/Search.aspx?Mfg=H-P") in the past, they stock a whole bunch of OEM HP parts.

I contacted Tucker, they had a junker 6236B with one complete knob. $25 plus shipping. Too much for one knob.
I'm hoping someone on the board here has a junked out scope/gen/ps of this vintage that can part with a couple of the knobs.

I wonder if they'd throw in extra parts from their junker for low cost... I'd love to get the power neon from a 6236B. That part appears to be made out of complete unobtanium. Not that I'm desperate - but if they'd do it for cheap we could potentially share the cost...
One other thought for you - you could always try the HP/Agilent mailing list on Yahoo. You could probably find somebody there that'd sell you some for something more reasonable.

Tucker would be just as glad to sell that junker to you as they would to me. It only had one complete knob.
