HP3478a display interface?

Hey all,

Does anyone know what interface the HP3478a uses to talk to its display?  Looking at the schematic, it looks like only a few lines connect to the microcontroller, so I'd assume it's a serial protocol?

Only a little - I never got around to trying to decode what was happening, partly because I found a replacement display (still haven't fixed that 3478A though)
