Hi |
I got 2 HP3580A audio spectrum analyzer. Both working fine, yet one of them has 3 broken knobs .
I wonder if anyone has any idea where can i get such knobs .

Thanks all

I don't know of a good source of knobs for these outside of finding another HP parts donor instrument of some kind that used the same style knobs as what you need there.
Out of curiosity, since you've got both types of 3580 there, do you have a preference between the version with the little crank and mechanical assembly for the frequency selection or the one where it's done digitally and displayed in the LED readout?

Hi,
thanks for your reply.
if i couldn't find any i might try to customize some knobs but i'll do my best to find originals.
as for which i prefer ?
in fact I saw that the mechanical ha bit faster response when it comes to choosing frequency than that of digital .
on the other hand The mechanical one has the 002 option which allows you to choose between balanced and unbalanced . actually between terminated bridged and unbridged. while the digital does not have this option.
