HP4156A controlled by Keysight EasyExpert Software?

Hello Forum,
I'm thinking about how to optimize the usage of my HP4156A Parameter analyzer and found the user friendly software from Keysight (EasyExpert).
A fast look into the documentation told my that the software is supporting 4156 "B" and "C" devices, but not an "A" device.

I'm just wondering why?
A connection via GPIB is possible, the software is verfying the connection to the 4156A, but after starting software it seems that EasyExpert is reading the IDN string and checking for "B" device type.

Does anybody found a workaround, or simple a technical reason why "A" devices are not suppored?
