| HP/Agilent half width gear rack mounted. Middle bracket? |
| (1/2) > >> |
| EE4all:
Ok, I have a lot of HP and Agilent gear rack mounted. Some of it is half width, so I have a piece of gear on the left side, and another on the right. I have always assumed HP had a center piece that just keyed into the other gear piece to hold them together, but never had seen one or found it with a search. Recently, I found a few of these on an old HP piece of test gear. I assume this is it. Where can I find more? What the heck did they call it, or is the part number? |

Not what your looking for,but apart from manufacturer specific, you can get universal joiners for example https://www.canford.co.uk/Products/2026151/45-3360_CANFORD-JOINING-PLATE-For-half-rack-width-panel-1U |

Right, that one won't help. It's amazing that one can find rack mount flanges galore on eBay for far left and right, but not these center joining brackets. |

Ok, after a bit of extra searching, I did figure this out. It's called a lock link kit. The part number is 5061-9694. |

I get the feeling users ran without any center lock 99% of the time. |
