It sure is an interesting business tactic - build up a well known and trusted brand, then change your name. Maybe they had too many customers and this was a strategy to lose a few of the less bright ones who were confused by the changes?  :D

My first experience of HP was in a bottle:

The person who almost single-handedly destroyed the public HP image of quality engineering and design?  I can't imagine why they'd want to distance themselves from her.

I was in Compaq @ the time miss F swallowed us ... Yes I "weathered the storm" and lived under the "dark clouds" (real quote-s from ms-s F mass emails to improve morale :) ) . I bet her morale was sky high ... @ the time the only job opened on the HP site was for "flight attendant (male)"  :-+

Or maybe you want to buy a FUKE ?!!!  :-DD

Could be a co-incidence that the Holdpeak HP760H and the Keysight U1231A both fail in Joe's Transient test at the same point? Spreadsheet is linked in the first post: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/hear-kitty-kitty-kitty-nope-not-that-kind-of-cat/ (https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/hear-kitty-kitty-kitty-nope-not-that-kind-of-cat/)

Those lovely people who call it a "Keysight oscilloscope", even though it was only made during the HP era. That's rather annoying.
