Did I completely miss it, or did they make no mention of the important metrological specifications like accuracy and drift in that video? He seemed completely obsessed with noise.

yeah, cramming it all in one box makes for less total equipment on the bench, definitely not good.

What I want to know is how frequently the areas where 8.5 digit meters are needed and the areas where 30A current measurement is needed intersect.

What I want to know is how frequently the areas where 8.5 digit meters are needed and the areas where 30A current measurement is needed intersect.

I can't think of a single one....

And for those few cases... Hmm, I can't think of anything *cough*externalcurrentshunt*cough* they could do. I guess they're just SOL if they can't afford this meter.

And if they need that nice, low noise, how about.... nope, can't *cough*averaging*cough* think of anything.

its probably a 3458A inside of a box with a rasberry pi transducer computer and a current shunt off ebay. Easy 3K profit.
