| I need a basic and cheap clamp meter with mA scale. |

I am doing some repair work where I need resolution down to 1mA. Perfect accuracy is likely not needed for this, but a reasonable meter would be nice. Of all my Flukes, I don't have one that can do this. I can't break the wire for a more accurate DMM test. Of the ones I have looked at so far, I am at like $400! Of course I found variants on fleabay for $50 but who knows what they will do. Any help would be great! Probably use this meter only a few times. Have looked at stuff like Klein, but no luck. |

This comes up all the time, search the forum: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/best-budget-(under-$100)-clamp-meter/ https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/recommendation-for-a-reasonably-accuarate-dc-amp-clamp/ https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/good-clamp-meter-for-low-dc-currents/ https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/clampmeter-dc-current-measurement-using-ut210e/ |

I'd suggest the clamp accessory path, because you can use them with a scope as well. |

AC and DC or AC only? |
