AFAIK, the PC-Comm feature is the only significant thing the BM257s has over the BM235.  Either one will suit your needs.

In the very beginning, I recommended you to buy a Multimeter-Oscilloscope around your budget (see that post).

The best DMM for Audio must be True RMS with an AC bandwidth of 20Khz, AFAIK the UT161E fills these requirements*.

If it works, it must be a Fluke!  :-DD

Bargraph, as well as frequency meter.

I did not know that the Fluke 15 and 17 came from Asia and as you explained to me without international warranty.

In case you had to upgrade your multimeters you told me you would choose a Daves BM235, a custom Brymen basically, so I assume the Fluke 15 and 17 are quite dated models and you think the Brymens are better than the Flukes in question.

No, only a better/different feature set.
Look again at the spec for 15/17B for bench and general electronic work and for sure they don't have all the bells and whistles which if needed I would use another instrument on hand.
When I got mine they were only $62 yet still lots more than any gawds amount of cheaper meters in the marketplace and more than double the cost of most....but it's a Fluke !
joeqsmith tests meters to failure and the 15B+ fared very well in all his tests which is what you might expect from Flukes decades of engineering and design experience.

--- Quote ---I believe the Brymen bm257s has more functions than the FLUKE 15B +, as build quality I cannot say which is the best. In the end, accuracy is important when it comes to measurements.

Certainly higher functionality for the Brymen vs 15B but accuracy will be similar as it should for brands of their reputations although Fluke as mentioned has decades more experience and I don't overlook that. YMMV
