Title: I thikn I bricked ADS-1102CAL
Post by: Frozen001 on October 30, 2020, 06:14:53 pm
Tried to update FW on my ADS-1102CAL.  File pulled from here:

https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/atten-lt-gt-siglent-conversionscrossflashes-do-you-still-have-problems/msg3058828/#msg3058828 (https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/atten-lt-gt-siglent-conversionscrossflashes-do-you-still-have-problems/msg3058828/#msg3058828)

ATTEN_ADS1102C_2.07.02.10R5_ProdId_79_ISP

Flash seemed to work fine.  Power cycled when complete, now all buttons light up and display is blank

Any chance of fixing this?

I advise that you reply in the thread where you got the files from, so that people experienced with them will be able to help you.

In parallel if you feel like it, you can disassemble your scope and see where the flash image is stored. If it is stored in a serial flash chip you could maybe get someone to get a dump and flash the dump to yours. Or maybe you can spot a JTAG interface and use that.

But again, start by asking in the thread you linked

Good luck !
