Title: If the input pins of PRS10 support +3.3V level input?
Post by: stevenlvv on August 15, 2022, 07:09:31 am
Could someone share if the input pins (1PPS_IN and RXD of RS-232) of PRS10 (+5V system) support +3.3V input from 1PPS of LEA-6T/LEA-M8T GPS receivers (+3.3V system)?

I would not expect it to work. The PPS_IN on the PRS-10 terminates at the input of a 74HC14 (5 V CMOS), and V_IH for that family is 3.5 V. 74LV1T34 can translate to 5V levels but not sure how much jitter it adds.

Thanks! I will try to add 74LV1T34.
