I recently picked up a 16702B. I also picked up a SCSI2SD to replace the mechanical hard drive. I'm looking for an Ignite installation CD (or image that can be used to create a bootable CD) to reinstall on the flash drive. Can anyone help? Thanks!
I found this on the HP/Agilent Test Equipment Yahoo group:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/hp_agilent_equipment/conversations/topics/69520 (https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/hp_agilent_equipment/conversations/topics/69520)
There is an image available from Keysight, but it doesn't appear to be bootable. Also, there no /X11/X11-RUN-CTRB as expected by these instructions to unlock HPUX:
http://www.perdrix.co.uk/hp16700/ (http://www.perdrix.co.uk/hp16700/)
so it might not be the right thing anyway.

CD can be ordered directly from HP/Agilent homepage. You need to search a little bit for that page, but it exists :)
Then simply insert CD into drive, make the LA boot from CD and follow the instructions.

Thanks! This page has the information:
http://www.keysight.com/main/editorial.jspx?cc=US&lc=eng&ckey=375133&nid=-11143.0.00&id=375133 (http://www.keysight.com/main/editorial.jspx?cc=US&lc=eng&ckey=375133&nid=-11143.0.00&id=375133)
Unfortunately, the order link (to agilent.com) isn't working anymore! I emailed them, will update when I know more.

sorry to (slightly) necro-post, but I am in the same spot. Could I please get a PM with a link to the Reignite CD-ROM image? I posted about this on the Keysight forums and they provided me this link: ftp://ftp.keysight.com/cos/outbound/16700/16700_A0290.iso
But, it doesn't appear to be the correct CD image.
Thanks in advance!

Hi.
I am soon going to be in the same position.
I need the link too.

I have two .iso files, the line linked above, 16700_A0290.iso (which I didn't use) and HP16702-LA.iso, which worked to reinstall my 16702b. They have identical contents, but the .iso files themselves are different sizes (and maybe boot sectors?) Here is a link to HP16702-LA.iso:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/cb6t5ewczmxxnwe/HP16702-LA.iso?dl=0 (https://www.dropbox.com/s/cb6t5ewczmxxnwe/HP16702-LA.iso?dl=0)
Keysight replied to my inquiry, but they don't send out CDs anymore since the 16702b is no longer supported.
I replaced the SCSI hard drive with a SCSI2SD broad:
http://www.codesrc.com/mediawiki/index.php?title=SCSI2SD (http://www.codesrc.com/mediawiki/index.php?title=SCSI2SD)
https://www.itead.cc/scsi2sd.html (https://www.itead.cc/scsi2sd.html)
It worked like a charm, the boot time is faster, and it is MUCH quieter.

Thanks!

In case that dropbox link ever goes down, a known-good (I used it to reignite my 16700B) ISO is available at https://archive.org/details/B37601424316700A.02.90.00 (https://archive.org/details/B37601424316700A.02.90.00).

DropBox link has been down now, is there any other link available to preserve the history of HP Test and Measurement?

Uh, the previous post?
https://archive.org/details/B37601424316700A.02.90.00
That is still a known good link. 2.90 is the last release for the 167xx series.

Thank you for this version! I have downloaded it with the finding of HP SoftBench inside!

Hi!
Could somebody who has the original Agilent 16700 restore CD upload a scan of the CD label please?

Forum member gslick has put the ISO images up on his google drive, see post:
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/hdd-dead-on-a-hp-16702a-logic-analyzer/msg814598/#msg814598 (https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/hdd-dead-on-a-hp-16702a-logic-analyzer/msg814598/#msg814598)
I know the 2.90 version has a jpeg of the label (they probably all do).

(I should have taken care of the slight image rotation when I originally scanned these...)

Hi!
Perfect Sir!
I have an original "CD Stomper" Labelling Kit and loads of disc labels, even an inkjet–printed label of a CD scan is far better than marker–pen scrawl!
Thank you for your time and trouble Sir!
