Instec GPP-2323 recorder feature isn't working ?!

I have been happily using my GPP-2323 for the past few months, but when I wanted to record my output to my USB stick, it would not save any data. The manual gives fairly intuitive instructions on how to do this, but as I have tried every setting for file type and location  . I am still unable to find any saved data in the specified location. Has anyone else experienced this? Or knows that I am doing something wrong? In my understanding the data should automatically be safed in the specified location after the recording stopped...
