Instek GTP-350A-2 Probe question
« on: September 06, 2013, 12:58:20 pm »
I have a GW Instek GDS 2304A oscilloscope and it came with 4 GTP-350A-2 probes.

If you have one of these probes, look at the connector end at the connector body. On one side is a hole marked LF and that is how you do standard low frequency compensation.

On the other side, there are two white plastic plugs and the designation HF.

The Probe Manual says, in part, "HF compensation should seldom require adjustment". It goes on to say that if you need to adjust it, here is the procedure and you use the HF trimmer to adjust.

Question: Given what appears to be two fixed white plastic plugs, how would you access the HF trimmer?

I do not think I have any need to adjust HF compensation, so the question is one of curiosity for the future.

Thanks, .... C
